True to our motto ‘So that all may See', LVPEI’s EyeHEP - Health Education Program, is a unique program, and probably also a first-of-its-kind. Through a gamut of well-crafted education programs, designed to converge all eye health professionals in a week-long process of learning and knowledge sharing, it provides knowledge through scientific evidence.
EyeREP – Rehabilitation Education Program, is an important module of this program and is meant for persons with vision loss, parents, professionals, educators and therapists. An initiative by LVPEI’s Institute for Vision Rehabilitation, the program consists of four modules:
- Enabling Independence: technology for life around the world
- 10Qs – One question each to ten legends in the field of rehabilitation
- Vision & Special Needs Children – know how factors in effective use of vision
- Teaching children with visual impairment – Creating an inclusive environment
